  The Kiss
Juliet, a successful businesswoman, and Lucy, a happily married stay-at-home mom, were inseparable in high school, until the end of their senior year when a heartbreaking incident tore them apart.   Enemies of Happiness
Malalai Joya of Afghanistan was a courageous, controversial 27-year-old woman when she first ignited outrage among hard-liners by speaking out against corrupt warlords at the Grand Council of tribal elders in 2003. Two years later, she ran as a candidate in Afghanistan’s first parliamentary elections, pledging to be the voice of the poorest women in her country and to ‘expose the enemies of peace, women, and democracy.’
