The Esperanza is proud to introduce Other, Out and Beyond: Movement and Struggle, a film program that expands on our commitment to progressive, contemporary, independent film and video. This new program honors the traditions of our two film festivals, Out at the Movies and The Other America Film Festival, and will now include film series and individual screenings that concern social, political, and aesthetic issues from around the world. We cannot express what a pleasure it is to serve as an important alternative media source for the community. Nor can we overemphasize that this is YOUR film and video program. So, give us your thoughts on films and videos you would like to see in San Antonio. Let us know if you're working on something and look for our calls for entries.
