Index of information about Esperanza's Funding Cut
Nationwide Support for Esperanza

The lawsuit filed today by Esperanza is not simply about Esperanza nor is it simply about San Antonio. This lawsuit represents a challenge to all those who seek to transform our democracy from one that celebrates diverse cultures and political beliefs into one that honors only homogeneity. Cultural funding must not be used to endorse a single culture or to penalize disfavored political viewpoints.
