For 15 years, the Esperanza has been a resource for South Texas. It was brought into existence by the hard work and dedication of its director, its board members, its staff and most importantly, the community. The Esperanza receives public funding from contributors like the Americans for the Arts/Animating Democracy (Ford Foundation), The Alice Kleberg Reynolds Meyer Foundation, The Andy Warhol Foundation, National Endowment for the Arts, Open Society Foundations's Southern Initiative, the Texas Commission on the Arts and others. But the biggest reason the Esperanza continues to exists is because of the support it gets from community members… JUST LIKE YOU! If you'd like to participate in our struggle to make South Texas, our nation and the world a more fair and just place to live, send us your monetary contributions.
